The Agents view lists all agents and lets you search and jump to them. Activity groups an agent's runs across panes, and Projects shows agent state. (#183) The Activity tab can group checkouts under one repository heading. Set worktrees = "repository" in the Activity tab configuration. (#185) Changed Files and Git sidebar trees update as files change. File changes appear within about a tenth of a second in open directories, and Git status updates within half a second, including changes under collapsed directories. Remote sessions keep their current behavior. (#179) Dotfiles and Git-ignored files fade in the Files and Git trees. Git folds single-directory chains into one row. Set compact_dirs = false on the git tab to show every directory on its own row. (#178) The sidebar tab-cycling and dock-moving actions have been removed. Focus the sidebar with Ctrl+A, B, then use Tab or Shift+Tab to change tabs. In the focused sidebar, Ctrl+Left/Right changes docks and Alt+Left/Right moves the active tab. Bind quit to change the shortcut that replaced detach. (#181) Fixed The Worktrees picker and sidebar now find a pull request when a local branch tracks a remote branch with a different name. They also match PRs against the branch on the push remote. (#180) Workbar clocks that show seconds and Agents and Activity elapsed-time counters now tick on wall-clock second boundaries instead of drifting or skipping a second. (#182) Agent prompts are submitted as a terminal paste followed by Enter. The first floating pane uses the current viewport size, and local split directories resolve from the caller and selected configuration. (#184) Compatibility The session server now counts agent run completions, and agent state includes a new error state. Clients must use the updated session protocol to share these agent updates. (#183) Configurations that bind removed action IDs under [keys] receive an unknown-action warning. Use the quit action to set the shortcut that previously used detach. Set the manifest's placement key to choose where each contribution runs. (#135) Add configurable actions for terminal links and hints, including pane or popup launch, client commands, and configured or extension commands. A file handler supports path hints with optional line and column context. Installed extensions can also contribute link handlers. (#145) New Agents and Projects sidebar tabs show coding agents across sessions and connected hosts, and Git checkouts grouped by repository, checkout, and session. Extensions can provide hierarchical JSON command tabs and live stream tabs. (#164, #173) Programs that emit OSC 7501 revision 0.4 appear in the Activity sidebar with their state, title, message, and progress. (#159) Changed Left Alt with j or k moves through picker rows, and left Alt with h or l switches tabs. Other Alt sides do not trigger these shortcuts. (#131) The Sessions picker now uses tabs for Local, connected hosts, and All. Search stays within the selected tab, and All lists the union of the available tabs. Opening a host from Remote hosts takes you to that host's Sessions tab. Settings → Sessions → Open Sessions on lets you choose Current host or All sessions. (#136, #137, #150) Worktrees now identifies the repository in its picker, can load pull request updates in both the picker and sidebar, and offers a searchable local-branch chooser when creating a worktree. (#141) Sidebars now have independent left and right docks, each with one to three panels. Configure Left panels…, Right panels…, and Open sidebars at startup in Settings. Tabs can move between panels and docks. (#143) Settings → General → Cursor blink controls whether editable cursors inherit the terminal setting, stay static, or blink. The setting is also available as [cursor] blink. Sidebar trees now share consistent guides, expand and collapse controls, and keyboard navigation. (#166, #173) scroll_multiplier now applies to scrollable UI surfaces as well as terminal panes. Configure it as input.scroll_multiplier in [input], with a range of 1..=20 and a default of 3. (#175) Picker and sidebar rows use consistent status words, markers, and action verbs. Worktrees and Profiles now preserve a session's exact connection state and offer the matching action, including reconnecting held sessions. (#176, #177) Resizing a floating pane that extends past the pane area keeps its position. The grabbed edge moves without pushing the pane farther out, and shrinking stops before the pane can disappear from view. (#171) Session graphics are paced by successful display updates, and independent image replacements can be combined. Resizing and input keep graphics responsive. (#161) Kitty pictures now reveal and disappear with Particles, Portal, and Scan pane effects. (#162) Fixed Background Activity notifications now name the rows that finished instead of the pane's current conversation title. (#130) Pressing Ctrl+T in the session picker while attached to a session now opens a temporary session with a pane. The same behavior applies to remote temporary sessions and restarting temporary sessions. (#133) Extension services stop when their client exits unexpectedly. Session servers and link openers are also reaped instead of remaining as zombie processes. (#132) Claude Code and Codex hooks can report agent state from remote and windowless panes. Restored panes also receive their Rozi environment. (#134) Animated pane titles update without rebuilding the full view for each title change. (#139) The Worktrees picker keeps branch alignment while removal confirmation is active. (#138) Resizing without a geometry change no longer repeats terminal and PTY resize operations. (#140) The Keybindings view can navigate past entries with duplicate descriptions, and its directory controls and shortcut rows have distinct labels. (#142) Agent state reporting no longer treats startup spinners or Codex's idle logo as active work. (#154, #156) The Agents picker keeps its selection during refresh, leaves focus on the chosen agent's pane, and shows longer descriptions when space allows. (#157) Activity errors now show as failures, stop the run clock, and do not trigger a completion notification or sound. Blocked work uses a separate warning marker and pane color from failures. (#158) Picker rows keep useful labels and state descriptions visible together. (#160) Terminal-browser image updates render correctly, and image frames use less memory. (#147) Focus is restored to the selected pane when a picker closes and when a replacement terminal screen binds. (#146, #157) Shift+drag text selections remain selected after releasing Shift while a picker is open. (#172) Compatibility Update Claude Code and Codex Rozi plugins to 0.1.1, and restart sessions started by an older Rozi before reporting from their remote or windowless panes. (#134) agents wait and agents prompt --wait now require --timeout. Rozi refuses agents prompt --timeout without --wait. (#155) Published rows are activities unless their publisher declares kind = agent using rozi publish --kind agent or "kind":"agent" on the control request. Programs publishing agent runs or conversations must declare that kind. (#153) Agent launch tracking changes the session protocol from 26 to 27. (#154) OSC 7501 support changes the session protocol from 28 to 29. All attached clients must use the new protocol. (#159) Kitty graphics changes the session protocol from 29 to 30. Clients and servers must use matching versions. Stop existing session servers and restart them with the upgraded binary. (#161) The new built-in sidebar tab ids agents and projects are reserved. Rename any custom tabs using either id. (#164) Move scroll_multiplier from [pane] to [input] as input.scroll_multiplier. (#175) Remove icons from Files and Git tab configuration. The top-level nerd_icons setting controls file icons and Git marks. (#166) @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.9 2026/10/07 13:38:22 pin Exp $ d3 1 a3 1 DISTNAME= rozi-0.0.31 @ 1.9 log @misc/rozi: update to 0.0.29 Added Installable Claude Code and Codex plugins report agent lifecycle state and native conversation or thread IDs through Rozi's agent API. The Codex definition can resume a thread with codex resume . (#92, #95) Pane animations include Particles, which assembles fragments on open and bursts them outward on close. Set opening and closing styles independently with animations.pane_open_style and animations.pane_close_style; the existing pane_style remains a fallback. (#100) Pickers support configurable opening and closing animations. Choose Off, Fade, Portal, or Scan in Settings or with [animations] picker. (#104) Worktrees show branch identity and GitHub PR and CI status. Paths remain searchable and can be copied with Ctrl+C; Enter opens the checkout's session, and Ctrl+Enter opens a pane at the checkout in the current session. (#118) Agent and session pickers have an All tab for browsing across sessions or hosts. Sessions search all known hosts and show remote rows with their host names; Agents separates activity and status details and supports per-session filtering. (#121) Set [pane] scroll_multiplier to control mouse-wheel scrolling through pane history. It accepts whole numbers from 1 to 50 and defaults to 3. Settings also has a Scroll multiplier editor. (#123) Commands started from the command palette show a running indicator if they are still running after 300 ms. Extensions can also hide or show their own palette commands at runtime with rozi hide-command and rozi show-command . (#126, #125) Changed Pane close animations remain visible while tiles move into the closing pane's space. Portal and Scan reveal the live layout beneath them, and retained closing panes no longer intercept input. Portal and Scan keep revealed content opaque by default; fade = true adds a whole-pane fade. (#94) Picker tabs now appear below the search field and divider, above results. (#101) Removing a clean worktree from the picker requires two Ctrl+K presses within the 3-second confirmation window. (#103) Destructive picker actions use Ctrl+K to arm and confirm. Profiles deletion moves from Ctrl+D to Ctrl+K. (#117) The keyboard cursor in the sidebar has a distinct row highlight. Modified sidebar arrow keys have hjkl equivalents, including Shift+h/l to resize the sidebar and Ctrl+k/j to focus the other panel. G selects the last row, and Files and Changes tabs accept g and G. Empty Files and Changes tabs keep sidebar mode active, and Worktrees no longer show stale checkouts after the last pane closes. (#106) Settings applies behavior choices only after confirmation. Cancelling an unconfirmed choice leaves the current configuration unchanged. (#104) Fast pane scrolling uses less CPU. In a measured client, wheel scrolling and scrollbar dragging used about 6% CPU, down from about 49% and 48%. (#120) Fixed Closing panes with the Scale animation now visibly shrink and fade instead of disappearing immediately. (#93) Offline or lost session connection dialogs handle Esc and Enter through the same actions as their clickable hints. Esc opens Sessions; dismissing Sessions with Esc returns to the launcher while leaving the offline session and its panes in the background. (#108) Config warnings and background errors no longer appear as stray text inside panes. Session autosave errors are printed after quitting, once the terminal is restored. (#105) Healthy sessions keep their connection across suspend and resume. Links that remain dead still show as offline. (#114) In shared sessions, followers see floating-pane moves, split resizing, and other mouse layout edits without animation lag. (#115) Floating pane titlebar caps keep their color and shape over styled terminal text. (#116) Rozi exits with an error before entering the alternate screen or starting a session when a terminal cannot display UTF-8 text. (#119) Profiles show session status markers for attached, background, running, and inactive sessions. (#122) After removing a picker item, selection moves to the nearest remaining visible item. Selection also stays with the same item through reordering and refreshes when that item remains. (#127) Compatibility Shared-session protocol version increases from 24 to 25 for live layout updates. Version 24 clients and servers are refused at handshake. Update every Rozi binary on hosts that share sessions. (#115) Shared-session protocol version increases to 26 for worktree PR and CI status. Restart clients and session servers together after upgrading. (#118) The control API schema version increases from 15 to 16 for the command-visibility capability. Existing extension manifests need no migration. Extensions that use the hidden manifest field must set min_rozi to the release that supports it, because older binaries reject unknown manifest fields. For a stale-locked checkout, confirm its removal with Ctrl+K in the picker or the sidebar remove action. (#84) The Agents view can list each Claude Code conversation under its own repository and branch, alongside the hook state for the conversation it follows. (#85) Sessions has a tab for each host in use. The active tab scopes session listing and session creation, including Ctrl+N, Ctrl+T, and Ctrl+X. (#87) You can opt in to keeping a host awake while agent runtimes are Working with [session] keep_awake_while_agents_work = true or Settings → Sessions → Keep awake while agents work. It is disabled by default. (#90) Changed The remote install dialog presents host, destination, and version as labeled rows. The destination shows the managed install path with the home directory shortened to ~. During installation, the host shows an installing… status in the Remote hosts picker and sidebar. (#83) Worktrees picker rows show the branch with the path and state in one description. The picker can grow to 160 columns, within the viewport. (#89) Fixed Interactive clients and CLI commands can prompt for SSH authentication by default, including host-key approval. Commands without a UI broker or terminal, background monitoring, and explicit batch_mode = true remain noninteractive. (#82) In Remote hosts, Enter connects to a disconnected or unreachable host, and Ctrl+R is unavailable. For a reached or connected host, Enter opens its sessions and Ctrl+R reconnects. (#86) The command palette lists Worktrees only when the focused pane has an attached session on a repository and is not on a nested SSH host. A key bound to open-worktrees still runs and explains why Worktrees is unavailable. (#88) Compatibility rozi worktrees list --format json replaces locked with lock: {"reason", "stale"} or null. Each dimension must be between 1 and 1000 cells. (#80) The palette has a Mark UI recording… command while the UI is recording. It has no default key. (#79) Changed Sidebar descriptions now leave at least three cells between the label and description. Activity project headers keep the project name and truncate branch names from the start. Worktree rows keep their status and hover action while truncating the branch name first. (#81) UI recording can hide its REC badge for one recording with rozi record start ui --hide-indicator, or for all UI recordings with [recording] ui_indicator = false. (#79) Fixed Copy feedback now includes the final character or cell that was copied. (No PR link was provided.) When a recording ends on its own, the UI shows a toast with its path. (#36) Placed update check spinners on individual extension rows rather than the tab label. (#40) Fixed remote bootstrap installs, XDG path usage, and connection pipe handling on Windows. (#30, #45, #62) Started Windows session servers without relying on HOME. (#62) Marked recorded panes with a blinking dot and status indicator on their title or border. (#64, #68, #70) Fixed image persistence and rendering issues with Kitty graphics protocol images following terminal clears. (#57) Compatibility Session protocol version moved from 8 to 19 across several updates to support new runtime identity, integration claims, worktree metadata, capture render options, attached control, and recording capabilities. Restart running session servers after upgrading. (#21, #44, #65, #68) Control API schema version moved to 5. Consumers utilizing strict schema validation should update definitions against docs/schema/rozi-control-v1.schema.json. (#50) worktrees is now a reserved sidebar tab name, skipping custom tabs named worktrees with a warning. The client watches for missed server heartbeats on both monotonic and wall-clock time, so a resume is noticed immediately and a backward clock step cannot disable the watchdog, and shows the reconnecting overlay. Esc cancels that wait and opens Sessions. An SSH password or host-key prompt covers the overlay while it is open. Reconnect never starts a replacement when the original remote session is already gone, and it reuses the remote binary that already worked instead of re-probing. If the host is still unreachable after two minutes the session stays on screen as offline; Enter retries and Esc opens Sessions. v0.0.21 Changed Commands lists Layouts… and Collaborators…, matching Sessions and Agents. Switch layout (m) still cycles and stays in Keybindings; it is no longer a palette row beside the picker. The update toast is titled rozi vX.Y.Z available in both forms. Its body is terse rows (the version step, how to update, and any extension API or session protocol change), and it stays up for 15 seconds instead of 3. A known newer release adds Update rozi to vX.Y.Z to Commands (update-rozi) in every client that found it, not just the one that showed the toast. The command runs the install's own updater in a popup that stays open to show the result. On success a rozi vX.Y.Z installed toast says to quit and start rozi again; on failure the command is offered again. Fixed Padded picker selection on guttered lists keeps a 1-cell left inset (│ ● name rather than │● name). Round and arrow caps still sit flush against the status marker. A session created over rozi --remote through Tailscale SSH (or any login without XDG_RUNTIME_DIR) no longer shows as restorable to the host's own clients. Without the variable, rozi now uses /run/user/ when that directory exists and is private, rather than a temporary directory the desktop clients never scan. A named session created on a remote host (Ctrl+R, the host, Ctrl+N) opens with a shell, or with the [profile] default layout, as a local one does, instead of an empty session. v0.0.20 Added rozi pick --json can name empty-collection copy (empty) and can open a stacked prompt as a title string or as {title, placeholder, value, masked}. Masking hides characters on screen; the submitted input is still plaintext. Control JSON request lines larger than 1 MiB are rejected and the connection is closed. Replies Rozi writes, including a full capture-pane scrollback, are not capped at 1 MiB. Picker snapshots keep at most 512 rows. Hook and detached exec commands share a 32-job ceiling. Matching hooks still overlap, but a burst of focus-changed events no longer creates an unbounded number of threads and processes. The compiled release trust store includes release-2026-b as a cold spare alongside the active release-2026-a key. Installed clients trust the spare only after they take an update signed by the active key. A last-seen remote session in Sessions can be forgotten with Ctrl+K. That drops it from the local host-session cache only; reconnecting the host and finding it still there lists it again. Fixed In-app writes of config.toml and saved hosts replace the destination as a whole file, so an interrupted save cannot leave a truncated document. A symlink at the config path stays a symlink. Prefix and Mod in Keybindings show current ← default when they differ from the compiled-in values, and Ctrl+D resets them the way it resets a command binding. Guttered pickers inset empty-state copy instead of sitting flush against the frame. A prefix key controls panes without taking ordinary input away from the programs inside them. Named sessions keep running when the client detaches, so you can return to the same processes and scrollback later. Tiling behavior and keyboard flow take their cues from the Hyprland window manager. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD$ d3 1 a3 1 DISTNAME= rozi-0.0.18 d6 1 a6 2 #GITHUB_TAG= v${PKGVERSION_NOREV} GITHUB_TAG= 824d925305579adcde6fb0cf17d480f445fd4831 @
