Framework for application level gateways (ALGs). - Packet inspection engine called n-code processor - inspired by BPF - supporting generic RISC-like and specific CISC-like instructions for common patterns (e.g. IPv4 address matching). See npf_ncode(9) manual. - Convenient userland utility npfctl(8) with npf.conf(8). NOTE: This is not yet a fully capable alternative to PF or IPFilter. A bunch of remaining headers is pretty useless to the userland too, but ... someone else's yag to shave... @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.18 2005/12/11 12:24:51 christos Exp $ d6 1 a6 1 if_atm.h if_bridgevar.h if_dl.h if_ether.h if_fddi.h if_gif.h \ @ 1.19.4.1 log @Sync with head. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.21 2007/01/11 05:36:30 mouse Exp $ d6 1 a6 1 if_atm.h if_bridgevar.h if_dl.h if_ether.h if_etherip.h if_fddi.h if_gif.h \ d8 1 a8 1 if_ppp.h if_pppoe.h if_sppp.h if_srt.h if_stf.h \ @ 1.19.4.2 log @Sync with head. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.22 2007/01/13 14:13:54 isaki Exp $ d8 1 a8 1 if_pflog.h if_ppp.h if_pppoe.h if_sppp.h if_srt.h if_stf.h \ @ 1.19.6.1 log @sync with head. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.19 2006/06/18 21:02:16 uwe Exp $ d6 1 a6 1 if_atm.h if_bridgevar.h if_dl.h if_ether.h if_etherip.h if_fddi.h if_gif.h \ @ 1.18 log @merge ktrace-lwp. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.13.6.4 2005/01/17 19:32:38 skrll Exp $ d8 2 a9 2 if_ppp.h if_pppvar.h if_pppoe.h if_slvar.h if_sppp.h if_stf.h \ if_stripvar.h if_tap.h if_token.h if_tun.h if_types.h if_vlanvar.h \ @ 1.18.4.1 log @sync with head @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.19 2006/06/18 21:02:16 uwe Exp $ d8 2 a9 2 if_ppp.h if_pppoe.h if_sppp.h if_stf.h \ if_tap.h if_token.h if_tun.h if_types.h if_vlanvar.h \ @ 1.18.16.1 log @Merge from HEAD. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.19 2006/06/18 21:02:16 uwe Exp $ d8 2 a9 2 if_ppp.h if_pppoe.h if_sppp.h if_stf.h \ if_tap.h if_token.h if_tun.h if_types.h if_vlanvar.h \ @ 1.18.8.1 log @sync with head. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.18 2005/12/11 12:24:51 christos Exp $ d8 2 a9 2 if_ppp.h if_pppoe.h if_sppp.h if_stf.h \ if_tap.h if_token.h if_tun.h if_types.h if_vlanvar.h \ @ 1.18.14.1 log @Complete a sync sys/ with head. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD$ d8 2 a9 2 if_ppp.h if_pppoe.h if_sppp.h if_stf.h \ if_tap.h if_token.h if_tun.h if_types.h if_vlanvar.h \ @ 1.17 log @Install net/if_tap.h. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.16 2004/06/22 14:29:45 itojun Exp $ @ 1.17.8.1 log @Pull up following revision(s) (requested by tron in ticket #1864): distrib/sets/lists/comp/mi: revision 1.990 via patch sys/net/Makefile: revision 1.22 via patch Install . @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.17 2005/01/08 22:28:51 cube Exp $ d7 1 a7 1 if_gre.h if_hippi.h if_ieee1394.h if_llc.h if_media.h if_pflog.h \ @ 1.17.10.1 log @sync with head. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.17 2005/01/08 22:28:51 cube Exp $ d8 2 a9 2 if_ppp.h if_pppoe.h if_sppp.h if_stf.h \ if_tap.h if_token.h if_tun.h if_types.h if_vlanvar.h \ @ 1.17.10.2 log @sync with head. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.17.10.1 2006/06/21 15:10:26 yamt Exp $ d6 1 a6 1 if_atm.h if_bridgevar.h if_dl.h if_ether.h if_etherip.h if_fddi.h if_gif.h \ @ 1.17.10.3 log @sync with head. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.17.10.2 2006/12/30 20:50:20 yamt Exp $ d8 1 a8 1 if_pflog.h if_ppp.h if_pppoe.h if_sppp.h if_srt.h if_stf.h \ @ 1.16 log @fix "includes" for pfvar.h @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.15 2004/06/22 14:04:04 itojun Exp $ d9 1 a9 1 if_stripvar.h if_token.h if_tun.h if_types.h if_vlanvar.h \ @ 1.15 log @foundation for PF @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.14 2003/10/13 08:34:15 dyoung Exp $ d15 1 a15 1 .PATH: ${NETBSDSRCDIR}/dist/pf/sys/net @ 1.14 log @Complete replacement of the old 802.11 layer with the new. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.13 2002/11/26 23:30:32 lukem Exp $ d10 1 a10 1 netisr.h pfil.h pfkeyv2.h ppp-comp.h ppp_defs.h radix.h \ d14 2 @ 1.13 log @Remove KDIR=, since SYS_INCLUDE=symlinks and KDIR are not supported any more. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.12 2001/10/05 12:37:39 bjh21 Exp $ d7 1 a7 1 if_gre.h if_hippi.h if_ieee1394.h if_ieee80211.h if_llc.h if_media.h \ @ 1.13.6.1 log @Sync with HEAD @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.16 2004/06/22 14:29:45 itojun Exp $ d7 1 a7 1 if_gre.h if_hippi.h if_ieee1394.h if_llc.h if_media.h \ d10 1 a10 1 netisr.h pfil.h pfkeyv2.h pfvar.h ppp-comp.h ppp_defs.h radix.h \ a13 2 .PATH: ${NETBSDSRCDIR}/sys/dist/pf/net @ 1.13.6.2 log @Sync with HEAD. @ text @@ 1.13.6.3 log @Fix the sync with head I botched. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.13.6.1 2004/08/03 10:54:11 skrll Exp $ @ 1.13.6.4 log @Sync with HEAD. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.13.6.3 2004/09/21 13:36:35 skrll Exp $ d9 1 a9 1 if_stripvar.h if_tap.h if_token.h if_tun.h if_types.h if_vlanvar.h \ @ 1.12 log @Install net/ieee1394.h the same way we install all the other link-layer-specific headers. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.11 2001/08/17 23:16:14 augustss Exp $ a2 1 KDIR= /sys/net @ 1.11 log @Install if_bridgevar.h. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.10 2001/04/29 09:50:36 martin Exp $ d8 1 a8 1 if_gre.h if_hippi.h if_ieee80211.h if_llc.h if_media.h \ @ 1.11.2.1 log @Catch up with -current. While there are completely userland (bpf based) implementations available, those have a vastly larger per packet overhead thus causing major CPU overhead and higher latency. On an i386 base router, running a 486DX at 50MHz my line (768kBit/s downstream) was limited to something (varying) between 10 and 20 kByte/s effective download rate. With this implementation I get full bandwidth (~85kByte/s). This is client side only. Arguably the right way to add full PPPoE support (including server side) would be a variation of the ppp line discipline and appropriate modifications to pppd. I promise every help I can give to anyone doing that - but I needed this realy fast. Besids, on low memory NAT boxes with typically a single PPPoE connection, this implementation is more lightweight than a pppd based one, which nicely fits my needs. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.9 2000/12/12 17:53:00 thorpej Exp $ d7 1 a7 1 if_atm.h if_dl.h if_ether.h if_fddi.h if_gif.h \ @ 1.10.2.1 log @Merge Aug 24 -current into the kqueue branch. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.11 2001/08/17 23:16:14 augustss Exp $ d7 1 a7 1 if_atm.h if_bridgevar.h if_dl.h if_ether.h if_fddi.h if_gif.h \ @ 1.10.2.2 log @Sync kqueue branch with -current. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.10.2.1 2001/08/25 06:16:55 thorpej Exp $ d8 1 a8 1 if_gre.h if_hippi.h if_ieee1394.h if_ieee80211.h if_llc.h if_media.h \ @ 1.9 log @Put the BPF DLT_* constants into their own header file so that things that reference them don't have to slurp in all of the BPF headers. In the new method, as with user-land programs, include files are installed by each directory in the tree that has includes to install. (This allows more flexibility as to what gets installed, makes 'partial installs' easier, and gives us more options as to which machines' includes get installed at any given time.) The old SYS_INCLUDES={symlinks,copies} behaviours are _both_ still supported, though at least one bug in the 'symlinks' case is fixed by this change. Include files can't be build before installation, so directories that have includes as targets (e.g. dev/pci) have to move those targets into a different Makefile. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD$ d7 1 a7 1 if_ether.h if_fddi.h if_hippi.h if_llc.h if_media.h if_ppp.h \ @
