This package should only be used if there is a need to use the Control.Monad.Except module specifically. If you just want the mtl class instances for ExceptT, use transformers-compat instead, since mtl-compat does nothing but reexport the instances from that package. Note that unlike how mtl-2.2 or later works, the Control.Monad.Except module defined in this package exports all of ExceptT's monad class instances. Therefore, you may have to declare import Control.Monad.Except () at the top of your file to get all of the ExceptT instances in scope. @ text @$NetBSD$ BLAKE2s (mtl-compat-0.2.2.tar.gz) = e4eb3e6a0b04bcbdc9f1cef3bda29fec4ea5dc5d56c69ba8c5cf5d2bd27bd9e2 SHA512 (mtl-compat-0.2.2.tar.gz) = 78a93e9e59d01bf0ffeb32f1322decd65d87cba8912d00f77347f0fc2f7190a755297953ac363ca3342c83822d36101b43ef044dc1f3b2ffef7c7710afda9d0d Size (mtl-compat-0.2.2.tar.gz) = 5128 bytes @
