If an INSTALL or DEINSTALL script is found in the package directory, it is automatically used as a template for the pkginstall-generated scripts. If instead, they should be used simply as the full scripts, then the package Makefile should set INSTALL_SRC or DEINSTALL_SRC explicitly, e.g.: INSTALL_SRC= ${PKGDIR}/INSTALL DEINSTALL_SRC= # emtpy As part of the restructuring of the pkginstall framework internals, we now *always* generate temporary INSTALL or DEINSTALL scripts. By comparing these temporary scripts with minimal INSTALL/DEINSTALL scripts formed from only the base templates, we determine whether or not the INSTALL/DEINSTALL scripts are actually needed by the package (see the generate-install-scripts target in bsd.pkginstall.mk). In addition, more variables in the framework have been made private. The *_EXTRA_TMPL variables have been renamed to *_TEMPLATE, which are more sensible names given the very few exported variables in this framework. The only public variables relating to the templates are: INSTALL_SRC INSTALL_TEMPLATE DEINSTALL_SRC DEINSTALL_TEMPLATE HEADER_TEMPLATE The packages in pkgsrc have been modified to reflect the changes in the pkginstall framework. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.10 2006/02/05 23:08:18 joerg Exp $ d5 1 a5 1 PKGREVISION= 2 a13 2 DEINSTALL_SRC= ${PKGDIR}/DEINSTALL INSTALL_SRC= # empty @ 1.10 log @Recursive revision bump / recommended bump for gettext ABI change. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.9 2005/06/16 06:57:40 jlam Exp $ d14 2 @ 1.9 log @Create directories before installing files into them. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.8 2005/05/23 08:49:16 rillig Exp $ d5 1 a5 1 PKGREVISION= 1 @ 1.8 log @Removed extra empty line. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.7 2005/04/11 21:44:59 tv Exp $ d13 2 @ 1.7 log @Remove USE_BUILDLINK3 and NO_BUILDLINK; these are no longer used. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.6 2005/01/29 14:10:36 ben Exp $ a12 1 @ 1.6 log @Remove PKG_REIVISION typo introduced in revision 1.4 of Makefile. @ text @d1 1 a1 1 # $NetBSD: Makefile,v 1.5 2004/10/03 00:13:11 tv Exp $ a12 1 USE_BUILDLINK3= yes @ 1.5 log @Libtool fix for PR pkg/26633, and other issues. This plugin allows you to write XMMS plugins as Unix programs. You write a program that understands the very simple commands on its command line and outputs raw sound on its standard output and you're done with it. What's good (and in fact the purpose of this plugin) is that you can write input plugins for XMMS in C shell or Bash! Of course, you won't be able to do much number crunching in a shell script, but you can use it to run other programs to do the actual playing. @ text @@
